Series 52 couplings are all-purpose high speed, high torque couplings used where minimum coupling weight is desirable. This design has been replaced by the XTSR52 – providing increased performance and features for motor and turbine driven pumps, compressors and fans. Design modifications may be made to further reduce the coupling weight, making it an economic alternative to high performance disc and diaphragm couplings.
