Incremental Optical Encoders are used to provide information about the instantaneous position of the rotating shaft. The 3.8 inch shafted explosion-proof encoder is equipped with dual bearing seals and cast aluminum cover with hard anodized and dichromate sealed finish. The size of the shaft is 0.375" (9.53mm). Maximum resolution is 72,000 and automatic speed RPM is 10,000 at maximum level. Its standard operating temperature is 0°C to +70°C. The optical encoders are certified by the Explosion Proof and Intrinsic-Safety. It can work in extreme environments, such as Wet, Dirty/Dusty, extensive temp, Corrosive/Washdown, Dangerous Area and High Shock/Vibration.
